The Blackstone Fortresses are some of the mightiest weapons in the Warhammer 40,000 Universe. Just one was able to destroy Cadia, the bastion of humanity at the Eye of Terror. Supposedly constructed for ‘The War in Heaven’ their exact origins are a mystery as is their overall purpose. Foreboding and potent they have always been one of the galaxy’s biggest enigmas… Until now.

In Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress you will have the opportunity to investigate one of these monolithic alien structures for the first time. Choosing one of a range of unique characters you will have to overcome both fearsome adversaries and the inbuilt defences of the Fortress itself, as you delve into its interior and attempt to uncover the secrets within. Who will you choose for your party of four? The dashing Rogue Trader Janus Draik? The bestial Kroot Mercenary known as Dahyak Grekh? The lithe and inscrutable Eldar Amallyn Shadowguide? Perhaps Pious Vorne, the Vindictor-toting Missionary Zealot? She does have a Chainsaw with a Flamethrower attached after all!

Escalation is the third expansion for Blackstone Fortress. A Dark power has emerged, hordes of chaos cultists are being drawn to this mysterious power. New heroes have arrived in response to this emerging threat, A new Rogue Trader, a Crusader, a Primaris Psyker and a Technoarchaeologist and X-101, a servitor retinue character. Will these new champions succeed or will their lives end at the hands of the Cultist Firebrand?
