Kelp is a truly asymmetrical game.Each player achieves victory in a different way. The octopus player uses cards to hide and manipulate pieces on the board, and the shark player uses dice, moves around the board trying to hunt the octopus.

There are 3 ways the game ends:
the Shark wins by successfully attacking the Octopus,
the Octopus wins by surviving until the Shark is exhausted, or
the Octopus wins by eating all four seafoods.
